By car
If you are coming by car, here are the driving instructions we share with campers. Once you are at camp, if you drove, we ask that you park your car in a parking lot on the grounds for the week. At the end of camp, we might ask drivers to drop campers off at a bus stop, bus station, or airport on their way home.
Rideshare
If you would like to catch a ride with another camper, please let us know by June 1st. We typically have campers driving in from all directions. We can likely find someone with space for you in their vehicle.
By airplane (and bus!)
If you fly to camp, you will likely choose to fly to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in Manchester, New Hampshire, or to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), in Boston, Massachusetts. It is possible to rent a car at either location, though this is not an inexpensive option. If you do rent a car, kindly let us know of your plans. We may have other campers who are arriving at the airport at a similar time.
If you fly into MHT, provided that you arrive by 2 PM on the first day of camp, we will do our best to find a camper to pick you up at the airport on their way to camp.
If you fly into BOS, we recommend that you catch a Concord Coach bus at least as far as Concord, New Hampshire. It is very helpful to us if you take the bus. We have many more campers driving past Concord who can pick you up than past Logan. We do have campers who reside in the Boston area, but their vehicles typically transport our staff and their luggage and instruments to camp.
Tell me more about the bus.
A Concord Coach bus departs BOS nearly every hour. There is a bus stop at each terminal. The bus driver pulls to the curb, gets off the bus to announce his destination, loads luggage into the large lower compartment, checks tickets, and heads onward. The bus makes one stop, in North Londonderry, before it delivers you to Concord. The ride takes only 90 minutes, and is pleasant and comfortable. The bus terminal in Concord has indoor and outdoor seating, bathrooms, and vending machines.

If the timing works out—you are able to catch a bus out of Logan no later than 9:25 AM—you can transfer at the bus terminal in Concord to a second bus that will deliver you to Center Harbor, New Hampshire, which is less than 10 miles from camp. You will have to wait about 25 minutes at the bus terminal to catch the next bus.
